Our History

Richard and Christoph set up WINGX in 2010 with the aim of building a charter booking platform which leveraged the live position of business jets. We morphed into a market intelligence provider as we perceived the gap in the industry for quality, reliable data on flight activity and associated insights for suppliers and operators. From there, we travelled a hard, long road to build an infrastructure capable of handling and processing high-frequency traffic data, and a visualisation platform from which we can sell and support dashboards to host utilisation tracking and insights relevant to our customer base.

Our Mission

Our mission is to create a unified hub of relevant industry data which can be visualised and tailored to specific searches and filters. We are knitting together all available market data, from flights to underlying equipment inventory, so that important data records can be interlinked and cross-referenced, enabling the maximum possible reach of insights. We also want to facilitate the integration of customer data and market data, so that our users can keep track of their own performance compared to market size and trends

Yvonne has been our mainstay forever, we’d probably lose the office keys without her she always has everything under control.

Kieran keeps us creative and engaging across all our marketing activity, when he’s not competing in crazy long distance triathlons or flying light aircraft.

Luciano is our Sicilian data wizard who brought his passion for aviation to the WINGX Hamburg HQ following his rite of passage in the bizav industry at Privatefly.

Vamshi is our dashboard design master, with acres of experience in Sisense across a realm of different industries, now bringing that expertise to business aviation.

Nick Koscinski

Business Analyst

Nick is the brains behind many of our data presentations and customer reports, when he’s not crunching numbers he’s teaching student pilots to gain their private pilots licence.

North America Head of Sales

Based in Tulsa, Trey heads up our North America sales. 

Our global team

Richard and Christoph have built a small team of fellow experts and enthusiasts to help build WINGX, including our data science and technology investments, our sales and marketing efforts, key research functions and software visualisation experts. The small team is centred at our Hamburg, Germany HQ and deployed across Switzerland, UK, US and India.
